Position: permanent: housekeeper / nanny
PAY PACKAGE: £23,000 per year for Live In / £28,500 per year Live Out, Holiday Pay 28 days per year, Annual bonus of £500 pounds, monthly Oyster card if candidate lives more than 10 miles away.
Job description:
We are looking for a nanny/housekeeper to look after our 2 year old daughter. The job is based in the Camden area and is Monday through Friday. MUST HAVE experience working with children and references.
Roles and responsibilities

The housekeeper/nanny will be responsible for cleaning, cooking, ironing and all other tasks related to the care of a 2 year old child.
The person must serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to the children and be available to assist the mother with any task required, from picking up groceries to making appointments and school drop offs.
The job will require organising play dates, activities, and coming up with early learning activities, such as arts and crafts, reading, number games, etc.

Main responsibilities:

To work with the mother and father to care for their child. This will include:
Creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the child.
Supervising the child's activities at all times, when required.
Plan and prepare meals.
Dress the child, when required.
Place the child down for naps and bedtime, when required.
Help in potty training the child.
Perform housework, including washing clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and ironing.
Play with the child, both indoors and outdoors.
Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the child.
Take the child to and from school, activities, and play dates when required.

Clean the house, make the beds daily and iron.
Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for the family, when requested. Walk the family dog, when requested. Travel with family, when requested. The role requires that the candidate attend one summer holiday with the family that can last anywhere from 7-14 days each year. Other holidays are shorter trips that can last anywhere from 2-4 days, usually in England. The family will spend long periods in their country house during the Christmas Holiday, the month of August, school breaks, and Easter. Candidate will be required to accompany the family to their country house during these times. The candidate is not expected to work during holidays, if they choose to use that time as holiday time.
Working hours

The Employee’s working hours are from 9:30 am to 7:30pm Monday - Friday, with one hour allotted for lunch while the child is at school.
Two nights a week for babysitting. The hours should not exceed 5 hours and anything over five (5) hours, the Employee will be paid at a rate of £10 per hour.  In addition, transportation will be provided for any babysitting that exceeds 10pm.
