We are a British/American family looking for a trustworthy, experienced, professional and fun housekeeper/nanny/cook to assist our family on a part-time basis on weekday afternoons. The hours are flexible, but would ideally run from 1 or 2 pm through to 6 or 7 pm. Evening babysitting might also be requested if mutually agreed in advance and at an additional hourly rate. We live in Wandsworth and have two very happy boys, ages 5 and 8 years old. Childcare duties would include afternoon school pickups, playing with the boys and preparing suppers.
Housekeeping duties will include: laundry and ironing, changing bedsheets and cleaning bathrooms, cleaning the kitchen, etc. A sense of enthusiasm about cooking is essential! Very happy for the right candidate to be creative and take initiative with meal planning, menus, etc.
We are a fun-loving family and will offer a comfortable role at a competitive wage. We have some flexibility as to the hours /days required and the job will initially be for a period of three months with the possibility of it turning into a permanent (and possibly more full-time) role.
Start date: as soon as possible
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: Approximately 1 pm - 6 pm (but we have some flexibility)
Salary: £10-12 / hour depending experience
We have a small dog who is very friendly and low-maintenance.
No need to drive.
Candidates must be legal to work in the UK and must have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience with excellent references and English language skills.
