We are two East London professionals looking for part-time support from July onwards, to help us begin the return to work while taking care of a 2 month-old baby. The position will be 2.5 days a week: two days 8.30am-4pm, and a third morning from 8.30am-12.30pm. I (the baby's mother) will often be working from home during these hours and will be on-hand for feeds, but I'll need concentrated periods to write. This is our first baby, so experience with newborns is essential in the person we're looking for, as are multiple strong references and a friendly, relaxed, inclusive approach to childcare. Other duties will include light housekeeping / cleaning / laundry. Salary and specific days to be negotiated when we meet. Driving license not strictly necessary. First Aid qualifications a plus. Our priority is to find someone who  genuinely loves looking after young children - who can become a happy and effective part of our household.
