Location: Tufnell Park, North London
Days/hours: 24/5 (Monday – Friday)
Care for: G newborn, G3 and B6
Salary: £750 – 800 NPW
Start Date: as soon as possible
We are seeking a 24/5 Nanny for family with three young children in Tufnell Park, North London.
Your role will be to work alongside other permanent household staff to ensure the lives of the Principals and their three children aged G newborn, G3 and B6, run smoothly on a day to day basis.
You will be joining an established team of professional staff, working with two other Nanny/Housekeepers. The family are seeking a bright, self-starting individual who is adaptable and possesses a positive attitude. This is a busy but happy household with a team of staff who work well together.
You will be responsible for working alongside the other Nannies to care for the children as well as Housekeeping duties, such as laundry, ironing, changing linen, tidying away Toys, clearing and cleaning surfaces, vacuuming and cooking healthy meals. This is a role for a Nanny who is a team player and happy to Muck in to ensure the household runs smoothly.
You will be required to be on call 24/5, Monday – Friday (living in the property during the week).
The ideal candidate will be hardworking and efficient, energetic and active, a passionate cook, and possess excellent communication skills.
Full UK driving license is essential as you will be required to drive the children in this role.

Duties:
Supervision of children at all times and general day to day care
Maintaining children’s timetables (washing, entertaining etc)
Keeping children’s bedrooms/nursery tidy and ensuring they have clean clothes etc as required
Preparing healthy meals and snacks, feeding and cleaning up after meal times
Packing suitable clothing/Toys and any other personal effects for all travel/visits
Escorting children on agreed trips
Arranging appointments (eg. Doctor check-ups and vaccinations and record keeping, haircuts, extracurricular activities etc)
Plan and lead educational activities including reading and assisting with homework
Ad hoc errands
School drop offs and collections
Assisting with homework
Managing the children’s wardrobes
Personal shopping
Organising activities and planning excursions and trips
Organising birthday parties and special events
Arranging medical and dental appointments
Liaising with the children’s school
Proxy parenting
Managing the children’s schedules
Household admin
Liaising with contractors
Menu planning
Preparing and cooking simple meals
Occasional travel with the family
Maintaining the household interiors
Laundry and ironing
Running errands
Grocery shopping
To be considered for this role, you must have;
Longevity in previous roles
Up to date first aid and DBS check
Excellent contactable references
Have experience working with children of a similar age
Have a valid passport and be able to travel.
