Hello,
We are looking for a live-in nanny-cook-housekeeper to look after our school going son, keep the home clean and tidy and cook the family meals.
About Us
We are a family of four- Mum, Dad, our seven year old son and our friendly cat.
• We both work Monday to Friday (8 am-7:30 pm approximately)
• Our son is in school 10 minutes walk from home
• We live in a moderate size four bedroom house 5 minutes walk from Notting Hill Gate tube station
• We travel to Italy, France and the English countryside during the school holidays and will expect you to travel with us.
What you get
We will make you feel welcome in the family and hope you too enjoy living with us.
• You will have your own bedroom and shower wet-room as well as bathroom (shared with our son) and access to home Wi-Fi
• You will be able to help yourself to food at home
• You will have weekends free as well as bank holidays and 20 days holiday days to be mutually agreed up front with at least one month notice
• Pay - £300 per week (flexible for the right candidate, please do apply)
Expectation
We would like to welcome someone in our family who is fun, kind and reliable.
Work days – Mon-Fri. You will have the weekends free.
• Mornings (8 am start): Get breakfast ready and help with drop off to school when required
• Housework: hoovering, cleaning bathrooms, dishwasher, laundry, tidy up, ironing, etc.
• Organise rooms/cupboards/clothes/Toys; some small stitching/maintenance of clothes For example: stitching labels on school uniform, fixing buttons
• Preparing fresh balanced evening meal for the whole family (vegetable, protein and carbs). Mum is vegetarian.
• After School (3 pm to 7:30 pm): Pick up our son from school and look after him till we are back. Includes taking him to activities, play, dinner time, bath time and ready for bed
• Baby-sitting – Up to 2 nights per week
• Driving license – nice to have but not essential - school, parks, shops are all walking distance or a short bus ride away
• Proficient English speaker - should be able to converse, understand instructions and engage with the children
• You should be able to build a relationship with the children and maintain discipline in a firm but fun way.
