We are an Anglo-Australian couple living in Clapham Old Town looking for a cheerful and energetic nanny to take care of our 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son and to help with general household management.
Hours
In term time, 25 - 30 hours over 4 days (Tues – Friday) as follows:
·        3.00Pm - 7.30pm each day; and
·        7 - 12 Hours per week flexibly either during the day when the children are at school to manage washing/Toys/food preparation and other household matters or evening babysitting (max once a week).  Two morning drop offs (7.45am - 9.00am) is preferred but not essential.
In non-term time, 46 hours a week (8am - 7.30pm each day Tues - Friday).  Flexibility to swap days on notice if necessary is preferred but not essential.
Duties

Planning and preparing meals for the children and some cooking for us.
Supervising the children’s meals and shower/bath.
Collecting children from school and taking them to and from after school activities during term time.
Supervising homework, reading and music practice and encouraging skills development in arithmetic, reading, English, music etc.
Taking the children on excursions, to holiday clubs/camps and to play dates during school holidays.
Keeping their bedrooms and bathroom tidy.
General light housework including:

Laundry;
Clearing up and sorting Toys and ensuring house is tidy;
Some grocery shopping; and
Washing dishes, stacking/unstacking dishwasher.

Requirements

Previous experience with young/school age children is essential. At least 2 referees are required.
You must be organised, responsible and reliable.
You must also have plenty of initiative and anticipate what needs to be done around the house.
Non-smoker.
Current DBS Check.
Ofsted registered (or willing to become Ofsted registered).
Clean UK Driver’s Licence.
Valid visa to work in the UK.
English mother tongue preferable.
First Aid Certificate (or willing to undertake a course to obtain one).

Details

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Statutory holiday including public holidays.
Start first week of September 2022.
