We are a friendly, busy family looking for a carer/nanny to start end of January. The job will have two main aspects:
1. To provide care for 60 year old dad with early onset of Parkinson's Disease, duties to include: personal care - washing and dressing, accompanying on walks, helping to do local shopping, supporting on household admin and finances, supporting on Lias-ing with healthcare professionals/social workers, collecting prescriptions.
2. Support with parenting of six year old boy, duties include: pick ups of 6 year old from local school, taking son to local park/occasional after school activities, cooking, assisting on child's bath-time, supervising reading, support Lias-ing with parents and teachers.
Essential skills: must be a driver with UK driving licence, cooking, keep a tidy house, have excellent childcare skills as well as experience of working with vulnerable adults.
Essential qualities: strong organisation skills - a good planner, kind, lively and fun, a family person.
