An enthusiastic and capable part-time nanny is required for September 2022.
We are working parents with a young child aged 2.5 years.
We need our child to be collected from school which is 15 minutes’ walk from our home, in Islington. This will be for four days a week, Monday to Thursday, from 3pm until 6:30pm. Generally this amounts to approximately 15 to 17 hours per week, term-time. Some extra work will also be available during the holidays. We are offering in the region of £11 or 12 per hour.
Duties include:
1. Collecting the child from school, supervising and playing with her till the parents return.
2. Preparing a tasty and nutritious meal for her.
3. Bathing her and getting her ready for bed.
4. Tidying up after yourself and the child.
5. It is also important that the nanny enjoys playing with our child, reading her stories and singing, as well as taking her to parks for fresh air and exercise.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a new DBS check, as well as have an up to date Paediatric First Aid certificate. It is expected that the nanny has a minimum of two good references from previous employers. We would like the nanny to hold an early years and childcare qualification, but this is not essential as long as applicants are experienced in looking after children and enjoy their company. It would be additionally useful for the candidates to speak French.
