Our lovely nanny leaves us on 21/3 and we are looking for someone who can start with us shortly thereafter. I will set out below what we hope to find but also think it is important to say what we would not consider so no ones time is wasted.
We don't want someone who only wants to stay a short time, my children have important entrance exams coming up and need a calm stable home life. We hope if you like us you would be happy to stay a couple of years. Our first nanny stayed 5 years, second a year so I hope this shows we are not horrible. We will not consider anyone who wants to bring a child with them, tried this it just does not work.  English as a first language is essential as is an up to date DBS.
Finally we want someone who talks to us. Communication is everything. A little problem becomes a big one if you don't speak so someone who is happy to talk and generally happy in themselves is the right person for us -  negative grumpy nannies please don't apply.

Term Time
Collect from school on Clapham Common at either 3.45 or 4.45 Mon, Tues, Wed. Walk home, supervise and help with homework, prepare tea. Sort out school bag for the next day. We expect that you will tidy up after a meal but we have a cleaner for the general household. Pay £85 per week term time.
Holidays - 8.30am to 6.30 pm Mon, Tues, Wed. Pay £300 per week holiday time.
There is some home work to supervise during holidays but aside from that and mores general childcare requirements we want someone who takes the kids out and is active.

Our last nanny was a degree student with some child care experience, we are open to suggestions. The ability to help with (pretty hard) homework is very important.
The children are 9 y (boy) and 10 y (girl) and are lovely (but we are bias !).
