Hello,
We are looking for for a nanny to pick up our children after school 3 days a week.
Candidates should have several years experience working with children and/or teaching. The candidate is expected to be punctual, reliable, well organised, tidy, a happy, fun loving, social person with a cheerful can-do attitude. We are looking for someone who has an approached based on kindness, respect, good manners and a high level of creativity.
If you are a high-energy person, witty, with a good sense of humour who naturally and eagerly initiates creative and meaningful activities that are fun and enriching for children, love to sing, tell stories and rhyme; if you can stimulate and enrich children’s creativity, imagination, confidence through language, music and narrative and have a high command of the English you are a perfect candidate.
Responsibilities:
-school pick-ups – walking distance from our house,
-traveling to and from after school activities,
-organising regular play dates as well as swimming at our local pool,
- we are “foodies” and our children’s’ menu is varied and wide; we are looking for someone who can cook healthy and beautiful meals for the kids and us,
-light housework - we have a weekly cleaning lady, and you will be responsible for: keeping the children's rooms, bathrooms, playroom and Toys / arts and crafts clean and tidy, occasionally toping up the fridge and other supplies if necessary, unloading the dishwasher, keeping the kitchen tidy, doing the children’s’ and some general family laundry and ironing (from time to time), generally keeping our home tidy, cared for and organised etc.
The candidate must be able to travel easily within London with the children.
Living near or in Islington would be a big benefit.
