We are a Russian/French speaking family living near West Brom / Fulham Broadway tube stations, looking for a daycare nanny for our three year old boy. He is an outgoing and chatty kid who loves outdoor play, reading and creative activities. In addition we are expecting another addition to the family in September therefore we are looking for someone permanent, stable who will help our older son through this period as Mummy will be busy looking after the little one.
What features are We are looking for? you need to be responsible, fun loving, energetic, caring and tidy.
The job would include:
- School drop off and pick up (15min walk from home) - he does morning sessions only and from September he will be doing full days.
- Supervise home play activities in the afternoon
- Supervise playing in the play grounds and parks in the afternoon
- Supervise occasional play dates (Wednesdays)
- Prepare simple and healthy meals
- Organise nap time and bathtime
- Light help with housekeeping and housework as we already have a cleaner (dust cleaning, clearing table, dishwasher, tidy up Toys). This is mostly in the mornings and during his nap time.
The hours would be:
- 8am to 7pm, 5 or 6 days a week (Monday to Friday and sometimes Saturdays depending on availability / flexible)
- 1 evening of babysitting per week (flexible)
Skills and requirements:
- Be available immediately
- Kindness
- Have a good understanding of the needs and behavior of 3-5 year Olds
- Be motivated to look after our child
- Relevant prior experience in childcare, especially with younger than 5 year Olds
- Good in English written and spoken OR good Russian or French
- Checkable references
- CRB checked or willingness to do so
- Valid work permit
- The salary is negotiable based on experience.
