An enthusiastic and capable part-time nanny is required to start on 28 August 2022 to work for this busy and happy family.
We are working parents with 2 children of 12 and 11 years old who need collecting from school in Central London and taking home to NW6 every day.
Duties and conditions include:
- Collecting them from school each weekday at 4pm and taking them home.
- Ensuring that they have a snack and supervising homework.
- Offering a nutritious meal and ensuring that the house is left in good clean order and the washing up done.
- Getting the children ready for bed.
- Using appropriate communication to support the children’s personal well-being and, and managing their behaviour with consistent and sensitive responses, as well as positive and firm strategies.
- Working a minimum of 20 hours a week all year except for periods of holiday when the family will be away. Also to support the family by offering flexibility for occasional evening babysitting.
- The nanny will be offered £10 an hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a new DBS check, as well as have an up to date First Aid Certificate. It is expected that the nanny has a minimum of two good references from previous employers. We would prefer the nanny to hold an early years childcare qualification and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of looking after children.
