We are looking for a new part-time nanny. We live in Hampstead, accessible via the Jubilee, Metropolitan and Northern lines and buses 113 / 13. We are flexible with start date; anytime between now and the beginning of September would work.
We have two lively, engaging girls aged 4 1/2 and.
2. We need someone who can:
Walk both girls home from school
Take the girls to after school activities and chaperone playdates.
Cook dinner for the girls, bathe them and get them ready for bed.
Play, laugh, get involved, and take an interest in the girls and the things they like.
Be creative, energetic and patient
Model and encourage positive behavior
We are ideally looking for someone who is a part-time postgraduate student looking to find some additional income.
The essentials:
Essential hours are Monday and Wednesday (1:30pm - 7pm). Availability on Thursdays (3pm - 7pm) as well would be ideal.
Plus evening babysitting (typically not more than one weeknight per week, and Saturday night would be an option if you’re interested but is not required)
You need to have experience with this age group and checkable (stellar) references.
You must be a non-smoker
You must speak and write English fluently - you will need to be able to help with homework.
Driving is not necessary
You should be prepared to get involved in family life (empty the dishwasher, tidy up Toys, cook dinner for the girls and clean up the kitchen afterwards, etc) and use your initiative.
Pay is negotiable based upon experience, but in the vicinity of £12.00/hour. You must be able to demonstrate proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
