We are looking for a caring, trustworthy live-in nanny to start as soon as possible We are an active, friendly family of four. My husband and I both work full time and have two (generally) well behaved children.
Hampstead/Belsize Park is a lovely, leafy and safe area where there is a well-established network of foreign national au-pairs and nannies. Our house is 200m from the underground station, shops, bars, cinema etc. Central London is 15 min away by tube.
Your hours, roles and responsibilities:
You will be working 35 h/week (7.30-9.30 and 14.30-18.30 Mon- Fri and one evening babysitting). Your main responsibility will be driving our twins and a little class mate to/from school. After school, you will be required to take care of the children and do some light household duties, including the laundry. You will be expected to babysit once a week. You will have weekends off apart from the occasional babysitting in the evenings. We will give as much notice as possible of when you will be required to babysit to ensure that you can make plans of your own.
Requirements. You need to:
• Be able to drive our family car competently and safely in city traffic and be aged 21 + and have driven with a full EU/British licence for at least 3 years.
• Be passionate about working with children
• Be reliable, honest, helpful, kind and responsible
• Be clean, tidy and able to do light housework. (We have a cleaner)
• Speak excellent English or German
• First aid certificate is a bonus. Have DBS (CRB) check or equivalent or willingness to get one.
• Non-smoker
• Have excellent, verifiable, recent references.
