New Products specialist needed.
Oxfam was the first charity shop to sell its own line of Christmas cards. Since then we have expanded our range of New Products to include organic, recycled and Fair Trade items.
New Products are items which Oxfam Buys to sell in our shops. We have a strong commitment to new products and you will help to contribute towards our sales growth in this range.
This is an exciting volunteer opportunity as you will get valuable experience In Retail, Stock Control and merchandising.
Whether you've a lot of retail experience or none, you'll receive the training and support you need.
Ideally, you will need offer one or two 4 hours shifts per week, possibly for a minimum of 3 months.
This is a voluntary role hence unpaid.
Skills and competences:
• Ability to work within the shop guideline.
• Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
• An interest in Retail or Fairtrade goods.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• No experience required but volunteers must be dedicated, reliable and willing to learn.
