We are a small Oxfam shop in buzzy Muswell Hill, North London
We are looking for someone who loves fashion and can take a lead role in our clothing and accessories department.
You will be joining a diverse and friendly team whilst working to maximize sales.
You will also have the opportunity to develop or enhance your retail skills.
Ideally you will be able to work one or two 4-hour shifts a week.
Temporary or permanent but possibly for a minimum of 3 months.
This is a voluntary role hence unpaid.
Key responsibilities:
Receiving donations, sorting, valuing and pricing goods within our Clothing Department Identifying and valuing fashionable/ saleable goods from donated stock
Identifying potential high value items for sale online, or through other channels Processing and pricing items within the shop price guidelines and policy
Displaying items and replenishing in line with shop standards
Skills and competencies:
No experience required but volunteers must be dedicated, reliable, enthusiastic and willing to learn
Ability to work within the shop guidelines and flexibility
Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
An interest in retail and fashion
Some knowledge of brands would be helpful
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
