Artisan People are hiring for Londons biggest museum - this is a full-time role for 12 weeks working on their exciting Visitor Giving team. You'll be welcoming the visitors and asking them if they'd like to support the museum with a donation. You'll be given comprehensive training on the museums exhibits as well as their health and safety and then you'll be on a Rota with a group of around 10 people working each day at the museum. The Rota includes weekends, so we are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who can be fully available should they start work at the museum.
This role is a wonderful first step into the world of museums, heritage and culture and you'll learn so much in the training that will support your applications within the agency or externally also.
The role runs from Wednesday 15th August until Sunday 11th November. Initial interviews will be held as soon as possible at Artisan People, followed by a second interview at the museum on the second week of August.
Your duties will include:

·         Actively greeting guests and encouraging donations to the museum.
·         Taking donations via a PDQ machine or cash.
·         Be knowledgeable of the museums temporary exhibitions and permanent collections.

Pay £8.50 ph
