Bentley Priory Museum is looking for casual Museum Assistants to assist with venue hire, hospitality and administration.
Hours: Part time, as and when required (usually Monday – Saturday between 9:00-18:00). Advance notice will be given.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Venue Hire
• To set up appropriate rooms/galleries within the Museum for venue hire, including moving and setting up tables and chairs
• To set-up, serve and clear refreshments for room hire
• To clear rooms/galleries after venue hire
Hospitality
• To support in the Café or other areas of catering and hospitality where required during hire or events
Administration
• To support the Museum with general administrative tasks
Health and Safety
• Responsible for Health and Safety for assigned tasks, e.g. When setting up rooms for venue hire
• Report all health and safety issues to the Museum’s Director or Volunteer
Co-coordinator and Administrator
