A leading premium spirits wholesaler with an unrivalled reputation for supplying London’s top restaurants, bars and hotels with the very best spirits is seeking a Multi Drop Driver. You will perform a vital customer-facing role, which is ideally suited to someone with experience of regular customer contact.
This is a full time permanent position and we are looking to recruit straight away.
The role will involve:
* Driving a 3.5 tonne Sprinter you will action all order deliveries and collections within Central London, so knowledge of London is essential to ensure use of vehicle is optimised
* Prepare own routing for all deliveries to optimise the number of deliveries per day
* Maintenance of the company van, refuelling and keeping it clean
* Completion of appropriate weekly documents
* Adhering to company policy and procedures relating to Health and Safety and security and accident prevention at all times
The ideal candidate will be 25 years of age or over and have a proven track record of at least 2 years in a multi drop role that is checkable. In addition, you must able to demonstrate the following key skills:
* Good communication skills, you must be able to speak, read and write in the English language proficiently
* Team player and efficient
* Excellent time keeping and good attendance record
* A team player who can work as part of a large team or on their own
* Preferably a clean driving licence / maximum 6 penalty points
* experience in the drinks industry would be advantageous.
* Able to work under pressure
* Customer service experience in a customer facing environment advantageous
Hours 8am - 5pm / 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday (with flexibility to meet business needs)
20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays plus other benefits
Competitive salary dependant on experience
Ideally, you will reside within an easily commutable distance from our head office in Park Royal as this is where you will work on a daily basis.
