Salary: £21,000 to £23,000 depending on experience
Location: Central London
Full time permanent, 40 hours per week, 25 days holidays per annum, all equipment and company vehicle provided (shift pattern).
We have a requirement for a Motorcycle Response Operative in London.
The successful applicant will work within a team under the supervision of a team leader to undertake surveillance operations with the purpose of obtaining video evidence. You will carry out enquiries and investigations as directed by the Area Manager.
All applicants will be subjected to Disclosure and Barring Service checks (previously CRB) to BS7858 standard and be required to provide proof of identity, residence and the right to work in the UK.
A flexible approach to this role will be required as working hours could change at short notice.
You will be required to have a full UK motorcycle licence.
Training will be provided for the successful applicant, including a private investigators qualification leading towards SIA accreditation - SIA Accreditation is advantageous.
A company vehicle and all equipment will be provided.
This is a full time permanent position. Courier or delivery riding experience would be preferred, but not essential. Riding experience with the M25/London area would be beneficial.
Successful applicants will require the following:
• You must have a valid UK driving licence.
• Be reliable and flexible to meet the demands of the role and be prepared to travel.
• Good levels of concentration, patience and observational skills are required.
• Good communication skills.
• You must be willing to provide evidence in court if required.
• You must be able to accurately record evidence and complete other admin tasks.
• Ability to remain calm and adaptable in ever changing situations.
• Good level of fitness to be able to carry out foot surveillance where required.
• Valid Passport.
Key responsibilities:
• You will work within a team to undertake surveillance operations with the purpose of obtaining video evidence to validate a claim and to carryout enquiries and investigations as directed.
• Work within the confines of the law and our client’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure film and logs are returned promptly and in line with company policy ensuring data security is maintained.
