We are looking for a new person to join the team at Infinity motorcycles in Holborn,
We are the leading supplier of motorcycle and scooter clothing and accessories in central London and the person we are looking for should ideally have at least an interest in motorbikes. This isn't totally essential, some of our guys and girls had never even Saturday on a 'bike before they joined us, but it certainly won't hurt your chances of getting the job if you currently ride.
We would like you to have a happy and pleasant demeanor, preferably some experience in sales and to genuinely like helping customers. You should be able to show some initiative and drive and be willing to tackle any set task with enthusiasm. We don't expect to tell you what to do all the time.
Ideally you should be available seven days a week as we are open everyday. However you are only expected to work five days a week which will include at least one or two Sundays a month, obviously you will be given days off in lieu during the week.
We would like you to be flexible enough to occasionally work at our other London branches iif needed to help out and you will occasionally be required to spend time away from the branches at shows, exhibitions and supplier training events, which will sometimes include overseas visits.
We do not have any problems with people whose first language is not English, however you must have very good English verbal communication skills and have at least basic English literacy skills regardless of your ethnicity.
Computer skills would be an advantage, however telling me that you have them and then sending me a CV full of spelling mistakes will result in nothing more than your exclusion from the process.
We are looking for bright intelligent people who have more about them than the average unhelpful idiot you find in many shops. Our customers are genuinely important to us and the biggest difference between us and our competitors is you, the person on the shop floor. We only want the right people working for us. If all you can write in a covering letter is that you work well as an individual or as part of team then please don't bother contacting us. Cut and paste skills aren’t the way forward here, a genuine personality and the willingness to learn lots about motorcycle clothing is. There is a lot to learn about the vast range of products we stock, and quite simply the more you know the greater your earnings potential.
We are not looking for counter leaners who sit back and wait for the sales to come to them, we want you to approach people and help them by offering service and advice. We will train you and pay you the going rate plus a very generous commission to incentivise you. Substantial staff discounts are available as well after a qualifying period.
