We are looking for help with looking after our 2 month old twins (boy and girl) and with some light housework (we do have a cleaner who comes round once a week) on a part time basis throughout September (with possible extension from November through February - mother will be away with the babies in October).
Mother will continue her maternity leave through February and the role will therefore require only limited sole care, e.g. In case the mother needs to pop out of the flat during the day/ some baby sitting in the evenings.
Duties would involve twin care (nappy changing, sterilising, assistance with feeding/ bath time routines etc), as well as some light house work including some cleaning (although we do have a cleaner that comes once a week), laundry, some food preparation, shopping etc.
We live in Clapham South, 1 minute walk from tube station, a big park and several supermarkets. The mother is Polish and the father is British.
experience with infants would be ideal but not essential. We are looking for someone who is a good communicator, well organised, proactive with a positive attitude and who is caring and patient when looking after babies.
The hours are negotiable but we would ideally need the following support 5 days a week, during the week:
-3-4 hours in the morning e.g 10-2pm
-3 h in the evening, e.g. 6-9pm
-some occasional baby sitting in the evenings
Hourly rate is negotiable, based on experience/ qualifications.
