Mother's Help for Twins in Clapham

Posted: 2 days ago
Place: Clapham, London

We are looking for a mother's help to assist with looking after our 4 month old twins (boy and girl) and with some light housework in the evenings (6-9pm) from late November through the end of January (with possible extension thereafter to full time nanny duties - see below).
The mother will continue her maternity leave through the end of January and the role will therefore require only limited sole care, e.g. In case the mother needs to pop out to the shop, and some occasional baby sitting when parents go out for dinner.
Duties would involve twin care (nappy changing, sterilising, assistance with feeding/ bath routine etc), as well as some light house work including folding laundry/ unloading the dishwasher.
We live in Clapham South, 1 minute walk from tube station, a big park and several supermarkets. The mother is Polish and the father British and we're looking for someone with a good command of at least one of these languages.
experience with infants would be ideal but not essential. We are looking for someone who is a good communicator, well organised, proactive with a positive attitude and who is caring and patient when looking after babies.
The hours are negotiable but we would definitely need someone to cover evenings (6-9pm) at least 5 days a week, as well as occasional baby sitting in the evenings. If you have availability during the day, we could also discuss occasional assistance for 3-4 h during the day, e.g. If mother needs to pop out to the doctor/ for a half day at work.
Hourly rate is negotiable, based on experience/ qualifications.
This role may turn into a full time nanny role from February/ March onwards, as the mother is planning on going back to work then.
If interested in the role, please provide a CV and contact details of at least two referees.
