Part-time carer required for private individual, up to £11.50 per hour gross.
Hours 9:30 AM till 1 PM Monday to Fri total 17 ½ hours per week.
Additional hours may be available. It is a permanent position with 28 days, a workplace pension if required, free training and updates.
Some carried out every day, others once or twice a week, some rarely.
I need help with
Personal care.
Medication.
Food preparation.
Preparing drinks and light meals.
Cleaning
Laundry and ironing.
Collection of medication from pharmacy.
Local shopping.
Escort me to medical appointments and other outings.
Filling in timesheets, drug charts, diary etc (training given).
Covering for full-time carer’s morning break and when out of the house.
And other household duties as they occur.
Also, to help full-time carer to the put me into his electric wheelchair, or Tilt table or standing frame when necessary (training given).
Carry out simple physiotherapy (training given).

A little about me.
I’m 67 years old and had an accident in April 2004 which left me severely disabled due to a spinal-cord injury at level C4.  Although I’m unable to walk I can move my arms a little.
There are some things I can do for myself for the rest I need help.
I’m easy-going and friendly.
I’ve a dry sense of humour, I like to make other people laugh and laugh myself. Family and friends say I’m funny, I think they are just being kind.
I live in a nice house and garden in nice surroundings.
