"Creative Writer needed for a Film Distribution Company
3 MONTH INTERNSHIP - UNPAID and FULL TIME POSITION
We are a London based film exhibitor organisation run by volunteers. We run the hugely successful London Iranian Film Festival and have many other Iranian cinema, networking and music events running throughout the year. We also specialise in film distribution and licensing.
We are currently looking for a reliable, well-organised with attention to detail creative writer and blogger intern. You will get to work on several varied and exciting film related projects (working closely with the festival and VOD programming teams). This is an amazing opportunity to get exposure to various parts of the film and entertainment industry and get a first work experience.
The most suitable candidate should be passionate about cinema, and cultural aware. She/he should be well organised and highly proficient in written English. Being marketing and SEO wise are a plus.
Common tasks will include:
- watching movies and writing reviews and synopses
- writing blog posts and a variety of articles to be outsourced
- preparing script for voice over (marketing videos)
- doing research on content marketing
- editing movie subtitles
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 9am - 6pm
