Sales, events and social media manager / Bar Supervisor (40 hours per week)
This role is perfect for someone who wants to step up into management - we are looking for someone who can invest 50% of their time into the SoM Manager role, and then also assist with operations as a Bar Supervisor.
1. REQUIREMENTS
As the sales, events and SoM manager you will be responsible for the following:
A. SALES
i. Creating alongside the Operations Manager a sales activity plan for the business
ii. Form strategy to reach out to current customer base and potential new custom, promoting the different styles of event that can be hosted – promote core brand values and U.S.P which we identify ourselves to hold.
iii. Liaise with designers and website teams throughout design process of advertising and promotion
iv. Secure bookings during off-peak times to maximize the profitability of the space, maximizing sales of pre-booked packages.
v. Engage with customers to create a warm and friendly environment.
vi. Maintains contact with all clients, especially in the market area to encourage repeat trade.
vii. Ensure that entertainment / promotion budgets are achieved at all times.
viii. Work alongside 3rd party booking companies to promote the venue and encourage a high volume of enquiry’s.
ix. Provide weekly feedback to Operations Manager with event sales results, potential new business links and opportunities.
B. EVENTS
i. Ensure all standards are achieved for corporate functions, create a hand-book for staff to follow to ensure that every function is executed in the best possible way.
ii. Provide training for staff who host events to ensure best level of customer service is received by all.
iii. Oversee all orders of customer packages requested by guests and ensure that all relevant parties are informed of specific instructions for each event.
iv. Oversee all new customer bookings to ensure that they receive fantastic customer service so they would be encouraged to use the business again.
v. To deal with queries and complaints in a professional manner, providing feedback to the operations manager of any occurrences.
vi. Collect feedback from guests and encourage positive reviews on Trip Advisor / Review sites.
C. SOCIAL MEDIA
i. Oversee the management of social media channels used by the business, ensuring maximum visibility of brand communication
ii. Ensure all posts are well produced, accompanied by well written dialogue.
iii. Promote customers to post about experiences at the business, increase dialogue which can promote the business and gain exposure.
iv. Work alongside design teams to produce new and innovative media / digital assets
v. Work alongside drink brands used at the business to provide incentives / promotions for customers.
vi. Provide feedback on advertising campaigns, including visibility and conversion rate reporting.
2. Requirements
i. 1-2 year’s experience preferable in a hospitality sales experience
ii. Understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
iii. Ability to work independently to drive sales and brand exposure.
iv. Possesses a professional manner, especially when liaising with clients
v. Strong leadership skills when training event staff skills for their duties.
3. Package
i. Basic salary TBC
ii. Bonus TBC
