The administration and accounts of our company is run entirely on an Access/SQL Server database which has been built up in-house over the last 11 years. We are now seeking a freelance programmer to take over its maintenance and development. The tasks will be:
Developments of further functionalities
Improving the existing functionality – including the speed of some functions.
Fixing any existing glitches
Fixing any urgent problems should they occur.
Rate of pay: £25 per hour
For the foreseeable future, we envisage that the role would be for approximately 20 hours per week. While you would be working remotely most of the time, there would be the need for occasional face-to-face meetings, and these could be either at our offices in central London, or in the Cambridge area.
