We provide support to an international jewellery and accessories brand and are seeking a junior to join our business to support our team of Merchandisers and take responsibility for direct dispatch of products to our customers.
You will be working as part of a small friendly team in a goal orientated environment. Your main duties would include :
Picking and packing customer orders
Quality control of products
Occasional assembly of delicate products
Updating and maintaining stock records
Ensuring there is sufficient stationery and packaging materials to meet the packing requirements.
Ensuring deliveries are posted within the given deadlines and at the correct fee.
Keeping the packing area tidy and organised.
Assisting the Merchandisers with packing or moving stock as requested.
Uploading documents into databases
You will need:
Excellent experience using Excel - this is essential and a small test will be required at interview.
Excellent communication skills - spoken and written.
An eye for detail
A proven track record of being able to work to tight deadlines.
A can do attitude - your tasks will vary day to day with the business needs.
Note - due to the office layout you must be able to safely lift, or assist in the lifting of boxes up to a weight of 20kg, this will sometimes be up and down stairs.
The hours are 8.45am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. It is expected that you will work on Saturdays if required from the middle of November until the last dispatch in December, you will be advised about this on a weekly basis.
You must be eligible to work in the UK, evidence will be required.
