This historic and exclusive private member’s Club is looking for a Membership Secretary to provide an efficient customer care service to all members and guests of the Club, dealing with all enquiries in a polite, diplomatic and articulate manner. To actively encourage potential members to join the Club advising them on rules and fees.
Develop ways in attracting new members and actively encourage potential members to join the Club.
Work with the membership committee and other club members in promoting the Club.
Liaise with the Club Secretary
Host and represent the Club at internal and external events.
Build membership sources by researching and contacting various agencies and organisations.
Provide information to members, such as advising them on the rules of the Club, joining fees and subscriptions.
Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Military Membership Development Consultant to ensure that Members and clients receive a top quality, professional service.
Correspond with members
Prepare applications for Election Committee meetings.
Undertake tours of the Club with new and potential members.
Undertake secretarial work including word processing and computer analysis.
Provide statistics as and when required
Assist at the Annual General Meeting
Provide secretarial support to the Retirement Pension Scheme and Benevolent Fund committees.
Liaise with the Membership Administrator and other departments as required to ensure that requests from members and guests are met.
Represent the Club and its services at all times in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
Ensure the Club remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients and members.
Be familiar with IT systems
Educated to degree level or equivalent
The position is for 6 months and could be extended. An attractive salary is available, plus excellent benefits, so please send your CV and covering letter.
