We are looking for a part-time Medical secretary to join our lovely Private Practice on Harley Street.
This role requires a high degree of professionalism, maturity, confidentiality and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
The individual should work well within a team and offer flexibility. Have a 'can do' attitude and show initiative with a desire to go above and beyond the role.
Duties/Role requirement:
Work calmly under pressure and prioritise their duties.
Show discretion at all times
Present themselves professionally and be punctual.
Ability to organize own daily workload
Help with the smooth running of appointment system and practice dairy.
Prepare clinic and maintain filing system.
Book scans/procedures for patients
Good telephone manner when speaking to patients and medical professionals.
Answering emails
Dealing with external queries
Helping with monthly recalls
Ordering stationary/maintaining office supplies as needed.
Cover for members of staff when their on holiday/sick leave.
Ad hoc work for the Surgeon as per his request.
Right to work in the UK
Fluent in written and spoken English
Training is provided but candidate must have previous medical experience.
Working days: Thursdays and Fridays 9am to 5pm - non negotiable.
