General Practitioner Surgery Part - Time Medical Receptionist required. 16 hours per week over 3 days to cover hours between Mon 8am –Fri 6.30pm.
We are a friendly NHS General Practitioner surgery in Greenwich, looking for an enthusiastic receptionist, experience preferable.
Applicants must have reception experience, good computer skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Applicants will need:
Excellent communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively on all levels is imperative.
Excellent telephone manner and the ability to take and pass on accurate messages.
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workload
You must be able to withstand pressurised situations and have the ability to deal with competing demands while remaining calm and courteous.
You must be able to cover extended hours until 7.30pm during annual leave.
This is a demanding role where you will be working as part of a busy team. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors and will need to be able to cope with the demands of a busy face to face public environment.
£9.02 Per hour together with NHS Pension
