AWAITING EYES FOUNDATION
Awaiting Eyes Foundation is a U.K registered charity (No: 1117222) that helps orphan children overseas by providing them with basic necessities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic MEDIA and SOCIAL NETWORK ASSISTANT, Volunteer
The job will consist of:
• Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies based on charity’s goals,
• Researching, writing and editing all the publications, articles, reports and grant applications,
• Preparing and assisting with the production of publicity brochures, AEF booklets, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs
• Developing effective working relationships between departments,
• Maintaining and updating information on the organization’s website,
• Maintaining and updating information on the organization’s social network on internet (e.g. Facebook, Tweeter, etc …).
• Assisting and completing any other tasks required by the CEO and other managers
• MANDATORY FUNDRAISING AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK
OFFICE TIME: 9AM TO 5PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
NO PREVIOUS experience IS REQUIRED AS FULL TRAINING WOULD BE PROVIDED.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VOLUNTARY UNPAID ROLE.
INITIAL COMMITMENT OF 3 DAYS A WEEK FOR THE FIRST 2 MONTHS, THERE AFTER - 2 DAYS A WEEK (FLEXIBLE).
In return, volunteers often gain experience of an office environment, and learn new skills or develop existing ones.
