Business Administration level 3 qualification (15 - 18 months)
The role:
Hanbury is looking to recruit an apprentice to, in the first instance, assist with media monitoring duties.
The successful applicant will also be given the opportunity to assist with junior press and research functions as they begin their career in the industry, learning from some of the best campaigners and communications professionals in the country.
Responsibilities of the role include:
1. Monitoring online, broadcast and social media
2. Summarising news from multiple sources into concise reports
3. Transcribing broadcast clips
4. Designing and creating social media graphics
5. Desk research
6. Document filing
7. Data entry
8. Proof reading
9. Assisting with company meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes)
Looking for somebody 18 years and over because the hours are 9am to 6:30pm, 42 hours, Monday to Friday
Skills Required:
The successful candidate will be motivated, organised, flexible, sociable, hardworking, a team player and willing to help in a variety of roles.
Personal Qualities:
Academic, organised, analytical, ability to disseminate large quantities of information, commercial acumen, VERY passionate about politics, strong-minded and willing to express an opinion.
