Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Inspector to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent  basis and will receive a salary of £31,704 -£37,301 per annum.

Skills, knowledge and experience required by the Mechanical Inspector:
- Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and valuing diversity.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
- To ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organization.
- Working knowledge of the gas/mechanical services industry.
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation including CDM.
- Intermediate IT skill including knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
- experience of social housing environment.
- Demonstrate experience and skills managing customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer care and satisfaction.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills and experience of creating and maintaining accurate and complex written and computerised records as well as collating and disseminating information.
Qualifications required by the Mechanical Inspector:
- ACS qualification Domestic
- City and Guilds training for legionella control.
- Full UK drivers licence and use of vehicle.
