This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a sound knowledge of mechanical fitting as well as either a groundwork or construction trade skill such as carpentry to join a well-established team.The company have been established for over 20 years and due to an expansion of the company, find themselves with an opening for someone to join their team. They are based between Tooting and Mitcham.The role involves the surveying, assembly and installation of the company's core products. These include retractable glass roofs and facades Pergola awnings, giant parasols and other outdoor structures.The ideal candidate will be physically fit with a full, clean UK driving licence. A logical, methodical approach is essential as well as the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Knowledge of safe practises is also crucial. The candidate must have a good command of the both written and spoken English with a flexible approach to both working hours and overnight stays. Electrical experience, carpentry skills and a current CSCS card are advantageous but not essential.The company are offering a pay structure between GBP9.00-GBP15.00 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. There is also plenty of overtime particularly during the busy spring/summer months. Relevant training will be provided.
