About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Massage Therapist to join The Peak Health Club and Spa on a fixed term 6 month contract at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- To carry out the full range of massage and treatments and promote the services that is offered to the standards required by the Hotel.
- Perform a professional service according to standard with attention to detail and in a prompt timely manner.
- Assist in promoting spa and body care products to guests and offer full product knowledge of the in house product houses carried by the spa.
- Ensure all treatment rooms are fully set up before beginning a treatment according to standards and procedures.
- To take spa bookings, up sell and upgrade where possible, ensuring that all details are accurately recorded.
- Responsible for a meet and greet of clients, providing world class customer service and exceeding the clients expectations.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- CIDESCO, CIBTAC or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of 2 years industry experience as a fully qualified therapist.
- An excellent level of English
- Friendly, approachable and professional with a mature manner
- Proven strong retail sales skills
- Excellent personal presentation
- Providing outstanding beauty/spa treatments with an eye for detail
- Time management and organizational skills essential
- Flexibility in undertaking other duties as delegated by the Spa Manager
