Bread and Honey team is looking for a full-time role of Marketing Assistant to assist the Communications Director in development and delivery of the company brand communications, particularly across digital and other traditional formats.
Responsibilities include:
DIGITAL SUPPORT
• In particular monitoring and managing social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Google Business, Pinterest and Instagram.
• Uses Hootsuite for timelines and scheduled content to ensure a consistent stream of signed off content for audience interaction whilst analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimise visits.
• Assists social media management with large projects, physical collateral mail outs, marketing events, and community management.
• Proof read content, including but not limited to social media posts, blog articles and press releases.
• Help to increase conversion rates and ROI with regard to the above digital marketing channels.
• Administration of any social competitions, to include organising prizes and contacting Winners.
• Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content monthly through research of relevant themes / content.
• Weekly updates on new follows and follow backs across all social media channels.
• Distributes relevant data from the newsletter campaign reports to other departments.
MARKETING SUPPORT
• Competitor research
• Monthly updates on marketing activity, trends, offers
• Market/ Marketing metrics reports (Monthly, quarterly and annual reports)
• Office Management supporting roles (e.g. Stationary, sundry orders)
• Support marketing activity
• Responsible for collateral, invitations, postcards, vouchers
• Responsible for Direct Marketing
• Attend all marketing meetings where required and contribute to business decisions made
OFFICE MANAGEMENT
• To assist the Directors with daily office management.
• To assist the Directors with office management tasks such as stationery requirements, ensuring everything is in full working order.
• To ensure that the entire team is working effectively, and how to make this more effective.
o A keen interest in photography for social media and online requirements
• Proven ability to be able to multi-task, work under pressure and remain calm when doing so
• A passion for food
CLIENT SATISFACTION AND MARKET LEADERSHIP
• To comply with the Company Rules and Regulations and any Venue Specific Rules at all times.
• To maintain a professional image with staff, customers and suppliers.
• To attend Head Office based meetings and also training courses as necessary.
• Ensuring a consistent approach is taken with all employees
• Speak directly and clearly to project a high profile image of both him/herself and that of the venue and the company
• To communicate effectively with all team members and participate in all activities
REQUIREMENTS
• Educated to A level or equivalent
• Creative thinker
• Knowledge of design tools (such as InDesign)
• Detail analysing skills, for reporting, competitor research and creative content development
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with solid foundation of English grammar
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, CRM, etc)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Passion for detail and timely delivery
• Strong working knowledge and interest of key social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google +
