The French Comte is looking for a full time market trader based in London and able to work weekends at Borough Market and other various locations. The right candidate will also have a full eu drivers license, be over 25 and willing to drive our van to various other markets when required.

Variable hours 40 hours and over available per week.

Main duties:

- Selling and up-selling food products
- Loading and unloading the van
- Cutting and wrapping cheese, cured meat etc.
- Following health and safety checks and procedures.
- Setting up, Packing up
- Cleaning up and tidying up
- Managing Stock

experience and skills:

- People skills, enthusiastic and energetic - Essential.
- Serious, hard working and organised - Essential.
- Proven sales experience and constant willingness to push sales up- Essential.
- Available regularly Fri-Sun - Ideal for Students.
- Fluent in English - Essential
- Ability to work alone as well as with a team - Essential.
- Interest and knowledge in French food (especially cheese, wine etc) - Essential.
