We are looking for part-time staff for a 8 days project conducting street surveys of people leaving mobile phone stores across London. We have 10 different locations and can allocate you to one which is most convenient to you.
You will be approaching people and asking if they wish to take part in a short questionnaire (completed on paper).
Work would suit individuals with good face-to-face customer service skills, market research or sales and experience of similar. This is street surveying and you must be comfortable approaching people on the street and introducing the company and project.
Our preference is for people who are available for ALL timeslots across the 8 days but we will consider people who are available for some timeslots.
Friday 10th November: training and start of field work
Friday 17th November: final day of fieldwork
Your rate of pay will be £10 per hour and good time keeping is essential. (35 hours possible for full attendance). Payment for work will be on the 24th of November by BACS.
We would prefer if you are available for all the hours on all 8 days, but if not please apply stating the hours you can definitely work.
REQUIREMENTS
You will possess a pleasant, friendly, polite manner and good customer service skills
Smart casual clothes (black trousers / skirt and black/white top. Please note that this position is street recruiting and interviewing, therefore comfortable footwear as well as proper rain jacket will be necessary to wear (not provided). You will need a rucksack for folder and questionnaires.
Good time keeping essential – a small app will be required on your smart phone so we can track your arrival and departure at your store. You will fully charged phone.
