Job Title:  Manufacturing Production Supervisor.
Reporting to: Production Manager/Operations Manager.
Location: Acton, W3 0AF
Shift work  7am-3pm and 2pm-10pm

experience in the cosmetic industry essential.
Company Description:
The Organic Pharmacy is a manufacturer and retailer of organic health and beauty products and services.
Duties to include:

Completes production plan with the Production Manager by scheduling and assigning personnel and the equipment.
Accomplishing work results and establishing priorities, while monitoring progress, revising schedules and resolving problems.
Reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment,   monitoring personnel and resources.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Liaising with the Production Manager regarding stock requirements.
Managing the ‘hands-on’ day-to-day running of the Production area to ensure all operations are undertaken and facilities maintained in accordance with company Quality Management System and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Daily compliance checks of batch documentation, equipment and facility logbooks to ensure continual compliance.
Ensuring tasks are undertaken and completed in full and in a compliant manner in line with scheduled activities as directed by GMP production Manager.
Assisting in external and  internal audit programs,
Report on team performance to production manager.
Ensuring production is adhering to all internal and external requirements.

Skills / Requirements:

A minimum of five years of experience  within cosmetic/pharmaceutical or food manufacturing with some supervising experience.

Leadership skills and team player
Equipment setup, maintenance and validation.
Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
Computer literacy
Familiar with  Sage or any other Manufacturing software.
Good Written and Oral Communication Skills.
Problem Solving Abilities
Time Management Skills
A high level of accuracy in all work and a good eye for detail is essential.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised.
