We are looking for a happy and energetic part time Manny/nanny. We need a Manny/nanny for 20-25 hours per week on average, to look after our 9 year old and 12 year old sons. We have irregular working hours and would therefore like someone who can work flexibly between the hours of 7.30am and 7.30 pm on weekdays only. During school holidays we would sometimes like the nanny/Manny to be able to work full time (7.30am-7.30pm) for certain weeks. Additional babysitting duties might be offered.
Duties would include doing the morning and afternoon schoolrun with the youngest, playing with them, taking the youngest to playdates, sports activities and after school clubs, helping with homework and organising family life, cooking for the family and tidying up after playing and cooking (we have a cleaning lady who helps us with the weekly cleaning). A driving licence is not required.
We are looking for someone who genuinely loves being around children of this age. Childcare qualifications are not essential.
As English is our children's second language (Dutch is their first language), we are looking for someone who speaks English fluently. CRB check and Ofsted registration will be required for the successful candidate.
The salary will be fixed at the equivalent of a minimum of 20 hours/week and the net salary will be around £10/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
