After a detailed renovation and restoration project lasting 2 years and involving an investment of millions of pounds, one of Britain greatest Grade I listed historic stately homes has recently opened to the public for hosting a range of special events. The position available is for the role of Head of Operations and Guest Relations which would involve managing the exciting project of establishing the venues at the premium end of the market for venues for events and functions. The skills required would be wide ranging and would include the ability to manage enquiries, negotiate commercial aspects and coordinate with the executive housekeeping team and manage the running of events and functions at the estate.
The applicant would need to have an pleasing demeanour, be well spoken, and a have a good education so that they may truly be an ambassador for the historic estate they will represent.
experience in hotel operations or hospitality is preferred. Responsibilities would include managing all enquiries and coordinating all events and function at the estate. The position is based in near Milton Keynes but frequent travel to the London office will be required, which is 45 minutes away by train.
