We're a little plant shop just off of Broadway Market in Hackney, with a busy cafe and takeaway lunch service looking for an experienced manager to take the reins and run the show.
You'll be charged with building a strong team and keeping them happy - we want to always be looking for new ways to make us a better place to work - as well as managing rotas, holidays and employment cost. You'll also need to be comfortable with figures as you'll look after cash ups, ordering and stock management whilst working to budgets and weekly targets.
But mostly, you'll be making the cafe side run and getting involved - behind the counter during our busy lunches helping serve our asian-inspired lunch boxes and making great coffee. You'll be promoting a culture of food hygiene and making sure we tick all the boxes to keep our five stars.
Our hours are sleep-friendly and customers are some of the nicest around. We'll teach you about plants and you'll get to enjoy one of the greenest spaces to work in. Salary is £25k plus a £2k performance related bonus.
