We are looking for an all-rounder who is passionate about food, coffee and music, to work part-time 18 hours in total. Shifts would be Saturday and Sunday daytime. We pay £10 per hour, plus twenty eight days holiday pro rata.
We love: Getting to know our customers. Avocado with dukkah. Discussing the genius of Transparent. Debating Marmite versus Vegemite. Patti Smith, Aretha’s high notes and dancing to ska. Dreadful puns. People who return their dirty cups.

Brill is a much loved neighbourhood café and CD/record shop, that prides itself on the excellence of our coffee and food, our impeccable taste in music and the friendliness of our staff. You must have had at least two years experience working in an independent cafe, ideally including some experience of managing a small team. We would expect you to be confident in making great coffee including latte art and basic machine maintenance. You will also be serving customers and preparing bagels/salads to a high standard. You will be used to working as part of a team in a small and fast-paced environment.
