Manager wanted for restaurant start up in Brixton Market. Competitive salary plus tips.
We have a number of locations across London, after starting our business from a stall on Exmouth Market in 2007 and we have just opened a new Asian-inspired concept in Brixton and will opening another Restaurant in Tooting very soon.
The Role: We are looking for a food loving and professional manager to help us achieve our goals - you must have high energy levels and be eager to learn and help our business grow. If this sounds like you then we really want to hear from you! The restaurant is very small and you will be managing a team of three to four people, including a chef, waiting staff, as well as working shifts yourself. As this is a start up, the role will allow you to put your own stamp on the restaurant and we hope you will help create a buzz around the new opening.
Requirements - previous experience of managing a full-service restaurant - experience as a manager or at least three years as an assistant manager. - experience with restaurant reporting and admin tasks, stock taking, budget management and staff rotas. - Excellent spoken and written english is essential. - Ability to regularly work evening shifts and weekends.
