Eastside Youth is a new youth work charity, that started in January 2022 and is based in East London aiming to change the lives of young people and has been set up in response to the massive and severe funding cuts and closures of youth services across East London, leaving young people with lack of services and feeling isolated in a time where young people already feel segregated from society with no real voice.
#YouthWorkChangesLives and at Eastside Youth we aim to facilitate that change by giving young people aged 11 to 19 years old based in East London the tools and skills to lead active and independent lives by providing interactive and engaging structured youth activities, training opportunities and support that will help improve their physical, mental, emotional, social and educational well-being.
We are looking for a part time Management unpaid intern to join Eastside Youth in our Management Internship over a 3-6 month period to help our new youth charity become a huge success and help with the management of Eastside Youth.
In this role you will take on a managerial role assisting the CEO in the day to day management of Eastside Youth, including service development and looking at creating new services, engaging with our Youth Ambassadors, supervising team members and helping to ensure that we provide quality youth work to young people.
This role would suit someone who is well organised, has excellent presentation and communications skills (including written/spoken English), exceptional leadership qualities and skills and who is a good people person, as well as good project management skills. This role will give you both hands on and practical experience in management, charity work and youth work and will look fantastic on your CV for all future inspiring managers or charity workers.

4. Organised and able to get on with tasks easily.
5. Good standard of reading and writing.

7. Ability to commit to either full time or part time, short term over a 3-6 month period.
8. Good leaderships qualities and skills.
