responsibilities
overseeing a bar staff of 6
• weekly rotas
• managing staff on duty
• hiring and training of new bar staff
• training of Ales/new products
• dealing with any arising staff issues i.e timekeeping, shift availability etc
ensuring the smooth operation of day to day running of the bar.
• daily cashing up
• maintaining up keep of bar/storage areas – cleaning rotas
• cellar management – maintaining Ales, line cleaning, troubleshooting
• till programming new products
• liaising with kitchen
• customer service – making all customers feel welcome and dealing with any customer issues/complaints
co-ordinating festivals/events/private hire
• dealing with client bookings and personalise their requests
• organising menus for parties/catering
• dealing with all the breweries/festival set-up
• co-ordinating all drink lead events
dealing with all suppliers - ordering and taking deliveries
• weekly enterprise beer order
• all guest and local ale orders
