We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant with experience within the leisure and hospitality sector. We are a fast growing restaurant and bar group based in shoreditch looking for someone to manage our accounts and help us grow.
We are looking for a management accountant with strong communication skills and a desire to offer a value add service to the directors of the business. A standalone finance role, the successful candidate will work within a small central operational team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Controlling all aspects of the bookkeeping for the business
- Management of payroll for all staff
- Preparing reports including P and L, balance sheet and cash flows
- Ad hoc financial reporting as directed by the operations team
- Dealing with external stakeholders such as creditors and banks and also internal departmental managers
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Credit control
As the successful candidate you will:
- Be an experienced bookkeeper / management accountant with experience of the leisure and hospitality sector
- experience of managing a finance function working in an autonomous fashion
- In this fast paced group a strong personality and can do attitude is regarded as essential as is a desire to be involved in the growth and development of a successful business
- Good working knowledge of Sage, preferably Sage 50 and Sage Payroll or xero
