Lamosa Business Services is hiring a Management Accountant to aid managerial planning and commercial decision making tasks by providing appropriate financial information and analysis. As Management Accountant you will drive efficiency and value for money throughout the practice whilst managing a small team of Assistant Accountants and Bookkeepers.

We currently provide General Accounting and tax services, main client industries are Media Production, Manufacturing, Retail among others. Client type range from Self-employed, SMEs and Micro Entities.
Main tasks and responsibilities:

Co-managing the Practice alongside the Current Managing Director, implementing team and business targets and monitoring the same.
You will take on the management and supervision of a significant sized portfolio, with a team of professional support staff around you to deliver.
Development, implementation and delivery of management reporting to, Management and SMEs and corporate Clients, including but not limited to weekly KPI’s, monthly Board Pack, monthly Client P and L's.
Provide advice to budget clients relating to financial matters in their businesses.
Co-managing the Practice alongside the Current Managing Director, implementing team and business targets and monitoring the same.
Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
Assist in production of budget and forecast for the business and Managed Clients.
Support working capital and CAPEX/investment management.
Implement Procedures and recommend on improvements to financial and accounting systems, controls and processes, both internally and externally.
Evaluate performance using financial data and identify opportunities for business improvement.
Assist on any external audit processes, provide accompanying schedules and working papers along with liaison and various other information requirements.
Develop effective decision support for Directors and Clients in relation to investment and all other commercial matters, including post-implementation evaluation.
To have a focus on Business Development, seeking potential opportunities to secure future clients for the practice.

Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time.
To travel to client sites as required

Essential experience and Qualification

Accounting qualification (preferably Cima, ACA or ACCA).
At least 5 years’ experience as management / financial accountant or similar role.
Significant experience within a Practice with track proven record.
Working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Tax Calc highly desirable.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational skills and ability to consistently hit deadlines.
Good numerical, written and analytical skills.
