We offer a residential service with a difference promoting support tailored to the needs of the individuals rather than shared staff. We are looking for individuals who have a sound understanding of Autism and behaviours that can be described as challenging and able to work in a person centred way and promote positive behaviour support.
You must be innovate, creative, like a challenge and have a great sense of humour You must be approachable, a good listener and willing to assist the service user and colleagues alike
Ability to work in a person centred manner and actively engage with service users and staff to promote independence and active engagement within the community.
Have good written and numeracy skills

The Role:
• Providing outstanding personal care
• Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
• Assisting people to achieve daily goals
• Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents
• Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development in their own live apartment and in the community.
• Daily activities such as arts, crafts and various activities
• This includes employment, education and other opportunities.
• Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
What we need from you:
Ideally you will have experience working or living with people with autism and learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex needs but not necessary as full guidance, support and a comprehensive training will be provided.
To be successful for this role you will need to promote outstanding people skills and positive relationships with our residents, their families and staff
